Stewardship starts from the ground up.

USFEC members are committed to protecting the environment, ensuring the safety of their product and the land from which it comes.

Forage exporters have deep roots in their communities, sourcing product from growers they’ve known for decades. Many USFEC members farm themselves, working land their families have held for generations.

Members communicate closely with growers, forming a network of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. These include certified crop consultants, licensed applicators and specialists who monitor the field for pest and disease. All work with federal and state regulators who enforce compliance.

Family businesses are the heart of the export forage community, with each participant working to ensure safe land and safe product for the generations to follow.
