The U.S. Forage Export Council (USFEC) consists of thirty-five members and represents a billion dollars in agricultural exports. USFEC is a sub-committee of the National Hay Association, which was established in 1895 and is dedicated to integrity in the hay industry.

  • Stands for safe forage backed by high standards, from the field through storage and processing, to shipment to overseas customers.

  • Is recognized by U.S. and foreign governments as the one organization that represents the broad interests of the U.S. forage export industry.

  • Is an official Cooperator with the US Department of Agriculture, accessing federal funds to open and expand markets, as well as conduct research and promotion.

  • Partners with other organizations to maintain and expand global agricultural trade, including the Agriculture Transportation Coalition and other US commodity groups.

  • Is a collaborative effort of businesses dedicated to the health of the export forage industry, all contributing a wide range of experiences and expertise.
